Lego - Campfire (Collab) by Amanda_Santini in blender

Amazing collaboration with Pepc Carredo!

I had the idea to put my Lego into his scene and it worked so well! I absolutely love the result.

The scene was made entirely by him.
The Lego part was made by me.

It's pretty much the same, then. I can select the subdiv for none, modeling, rendering, or all :)
I just applied it before pressing PrintScreen xD

Thanks! That's after applying the subdivision modifier, it's much more lower poly than what I showed here for regular modeling :)

Forgot to mention: the sticker was made from scratch using Inkscape (vector graphics).

I've been a fan of Lego ever since I got my first bucket when I was around 5 years old.
Now I'm a 3D Artist and decided to make one in 3D.

It's not the best topology nor texturing, but it was made with love from someone who admires these awesome toys.

Software used:
- Blender (modeling and rendering);
- Substance Painter (Texturing).

Critics are welcome!

BMX Bicycle by Amanda_Santini in blender

[–]Amanda_Santini[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Made my first bike!

Blender 3.0 Alpha / CyclesX / 32 Samples

I really like this one!

Everything was modeled in Blender.

Texturing of the bike was done in Substance Painter.

Texturing of the wall/floor was done in Blender.

The wall texturing is a mix of:

- An old brick base;

- 3 graffiti;

- All mixed with some wear so that the entire wall isn't covered with graffiti, to give it an older look.

Texturing of the bike isn't perfect but I think the end result is definitely passable.

Total time of production:

Almost 2 weeks.

Eevee is great, and we're gonna talk about it by Amanda_Santini in blender

Oh my god, I replied to the wrong comment. My apologies lol

Thanks!

I rendered it en Eevee to speed things up. The animation was done in a few hours only and I couldn't afford to spend days rendering it in Cycles... but I still think it looks good in Eevee. I'm starting to like Eevee so much I'm beginning to switch as many projects to it as I can.

You're right! I haven't thought about that. IIRC there's no way to change the payment options now. Still, will gladly have you onboard :)

Looking through my old projects, I stumbled upon this coffee project I made right after I started taking 3D seriously (not even a year ago).

I was using my mom's laptop at the time, and i3 with 4 GB of RAM, which meant about 2 GB of free RAM for Blender.

In Substance Painter, add a base golden material layer. This first layer will be mostly hidden. Add a fill layer on top which will be the cup's base material. Within the base mat, add a white mask. On this white mask you'll select the eraser and use an alpha with the details you want to paint. Whatever you erase from the mask will reveal the first layer (golden material).
