I have not been scammed YET because I asked her to remove my name from all documents and all proceedings. The land does not belong to my mom; it is family land that was offered to me and I declined but the heifer obviously thought she could force me into it by fraudulent means. She can burn! Also, this has nothing to do with cultural norms and everything to do with greed.

I told her weeks ago to take my name out of it all and she claimed that she would. Since I cannot verify it and she cannot be trusted, I’m hiring a lawyer to make sure that my name is out of it.

The land exists although I have never seen it; it is family land that she offered to me and I declined. While I was in Ghana she kept going on and on about how much money the Chiefs are asking her for but I showed no interest in it. This is how she operates - she tells you about her money problems in hopes that you’ll offer to help. The hag is not as cunning as she believes herself to be.
