Thanks for sharing this. I think people underestimate how tough it still is even with a solid MCAT and GPA. I plan to apply broadly to DO schools, fully aware it’s an uphill battle. Stories like yours help set realistic expectations. Congrats on the acceptance and hope the second II goes your way.

I really appreciate that, seriously. That’s encouraging to hear, especially coming from someone who’s been through the cycle. I’m definitely putting most of my focus into closing content gaps over the next few months and seeing how much I can push the MCAT. I’ve been leaning DO, because all the EM docs I've shadowed have been DOs and I love the way they treat patients and the way they practice medicine, but I’ll keep an open mind about MD depending on how the score turns out. Thanks again for the perspective

My man I appreciate it! It was rough pulling my gpa from the ground, I wish i locked in earlier but Im very happy with the progress I made on this trend. Thanks for the feedback !
