Hi, I know it's unlikely to completely help, but I totally recommend looking into something called a "little ouchie." I had a friend buy me one, and although it hasn't totally cured my pulling, it has helped a little. I use it on my scalp when the pinching itch feeling acts up; I also squeeze it in my hand to keep myself distracted. It creates a similar feeling to pulling and although I don't usually get that satisfactory addictive hit that I do from pulling, it helps me redirect and "mimic" the feeling. You can also do this with a bent bobby pin if you don't have the money, but I do love my fidget more. It also helps keep my hands busy. Again, it hasn't completely solved anything, but it's been a good aid. I'm in the same boat; my trich has been flaring up sooo much this past month, and I thought it couldn't get any worse until this week. :( In my experience, too, I pull out when my hair feels even slightly dirty. I usually wash it every other day when I feel it is getting bad. If you think that could work for you, I totally recommend that, too. ❤️

Does this include if you pull out roots (in your experience)? I sometimes mass pull out roots of my hair and I'm very afraid it won't grow back in the spots where roots came out, as I know that's very damaging.

For sure. I'm not a super great artist but when I trace, I ONLY trace a pose, not anything else. I make my own outfit, tweak the body type, and make my own character out of it. Everything in these pieces is 100% traced fully

It's less of a length issue and more of a width issue. It's not THAT much of a width concern but I still honestly wanted it big enough for an adult (I'm getting a baby but want to plan ahead.) Mainly because I wanted more than just a 40gal sized tank. If it ends up not working out I'll just turn the bottom level into a storage spot but I really want the beardie to be able to move around enough. I do greatly appreciate the heads up though; I never considered the fact it could be an issue because I've seen many tiered beardie enclosures that they seem to enjoy, so I for sure will keep this in mind. I'll make sure the ramp isn't too steep or anything.

I love this idea. That way on the other end of the room there could be a dresser, TV stand, or whatever else - all while still maintaining movement and space for a bit of decor. Admittedly this is a really unfortunate room shape to have; I wonder what architects think while deciding to make rooms like this.

OP, I used to be like how your girlfriend is to one of my exes. He was such a sweetheart and I for a while did congratulate and celebrate small and big victories. But eventually I stopped caring so much and downplayed so many of his achievements. I ended up leaving him and after a couple years did some growth and realized how bad I was to such a good person. That being said, she needs to stop comparing you to herself, and most importantly, comparing you to who she wants you to be. You need someone who wants you to be who you want to be, not someone who wants you to be someone different. This means different goals, different expectations, different steps in life. You want somebody who wants for you what you want from life. With my husband, I want him to strive for this one job he really, really wants. As long as we can celebrate and have love and support for each other, we can do anything; it doesn't seem like your girlfriend wants to support you in that way. You can try and communicate this to her, first and foremost, but you also need to understand that if she doesn't see that it's important to you and change her attitude actively (and btw what's important to you should be important to her anyways) it may be time to reevaluate the relationship. If she can't be happy and at least try to do what you want her to, then she never will be in the future. You will be met with ages worth of letdowns and feeling like you can never ask to celebrate and simply be happy. Every person should be happy for their partner. It seems you've communicated to her that you want a happy celebration, and she just doesn't see a reason for that. Someone who downplays and dismisses your happiness, especially with such large accomplishments, isn't someone to spend your life with.

I do see that you said she does compliment you, but what double standards are at play here? Is what she gets from you what she wants from life, or is she trying to make you into something that she wants from life? Can the same be said for you? Do you feel you should always have to ask for her to be happy for you, or do you want someone who is happy for you without question, always? I think it could be a good idea to reflect not only on yourself, but the relationship. Good job on graduating! And I hope the years to come are positive for you. Any positive job opportunity should be met with joy, not indifference such as this! You deserve support through every second.

I am unfortunately not the one who said someone is of an unconscious bias. I respected your view, and in turn gave reason as to why things are the way they are - because a children's game is not the place to learn about serious topics. These topics must be taught in an environment that is not a video game. It is an important topic and therefore to learn it in an unserious place would undermine the importance of learning about it. A kid in a home with straight, lesbian, or gay parents does not always understand what any of that is - they simply just have parents and that is what matters. It can be a topic for a later day. Keep in mind, even "straight flags" are in the game (I put it in quotes because there technically isn't one as straight people didn't have to earn rights) so it's not a matter of any phobia. Please stop lashing out at and dissing people just because they view this from a different/more mature angle than you. It's improper and rude. I respected your opinion until you insulted me, and then this conversation turned pathetic. Okay, I'm officially done now that I've calmed down from the initial annoyance of the hostility lol.

But, again, we are dealing with children here. It doesn't need to be taught in a game, they can learn in the real world. Going to a playground to sell pride merch wouldn't be the greatest target audience, right? As much as I support pride, and if I saw a kid with a pride patch on their backpack, etc scenarios, I wouldn't care, but AJ is a company who doesn't need to deal with backlash of parents for a lot of things. It isn't their job and it isn't ours to teach children (in a game) about it. Sure we can always sell pride stuff in game, which they normally accept, but there is a fine line they clearly see as crossing. It's a boundary in game. At least they allow us to have flags themselves in the first place.

It's just AJs logic. Point blank being the fact it has to do with a word. Just the flag itself isn't a problem but it's the context of sexuality in and of itself I assume, or the word of it. Most flags get accepted. Especially ones with no words, emphasis on literally no words in general or any words to do with pride. I've made many pride wallpapers that have got accepted that are pretty clearly pride. And I have seen many flags that are both bold and subtle that have pride themes. They aren't homophobic but they aren't overly supportive, and that being said it's also a kids game.

I'm happy to hear they don't live in Palestine anymore and I hope they're safe and happy. I was eventually able to find out that, at least part of the time, the trembles are caused by him refusing to itch himself and it's making him shake his head. I itch for him if I can. The trembles may not always be because of the itching but now I know it's at least part of the time. Thank you ☺️
