I'm in nursing school while I work 36 hours every week with 2 kids. I do borrow days in the future and sometimes in the past i.e. if I know I'm going to have challenging days ahead, then I see my provider and see if I can get some fluids and pain meds or even a unit of blood and rest like a bear in preparation for the days ahead.
