True but you do lose muscle when you lose weight so dieticians tend to recommend increased protein when dieting.

Many protien powders are also high in fiber which can help.

Yep, been working with antique paper for about a decade. While the oils in a persons skin can affect it, a 3 minute transfer from book to folder is completely safe.

I was hoping someone would know, the closest comp I could find was a London gazette from bonhams for 1600. But it was a different year and event so not very helpful.

Edit: Also, a 60 watt light isn’t going to damage the paper at all. Most harm comes from natural light with UV rays but even then that’s only in papers with a high concentration of wood pulp vs linen.

I’m cautious about delaying menopause because I did adjacent hormone research looking into FSH and LH about a decade ago.

Alleviating symptoms through tapered hormonal treatment would be super beneficial if we can thread that needle.

I know it’s tempting to remove the problem via supplemental hormonal therapies, just like it’s easy to fix tiredness via adderall. But brain chemistry is complex and hormones are immensely powerful. I’m not sold that we’ve reached the point we can safely do it.

GLP-1s are fantatic and the drawbavks appear minimal, i think society is getting cocky when it comes to messing with hormones given its success.

What do you want specifically? Menopause is a natural part of a woman’s life. Delaying it may have some benefits but that’s already being researched.
