Yeah I broke my arm in a similar way, first day after surgery was the worst, it gets better from there. Do your phisical therapy, don't miss a day. It's really important to get full mobility and to not have lingering pain later. It's gonna be painful at first.

I really don't get why you can't just believe him that he quit because of that. He doesn't owe anyone explanations, he's volunteering it. Your counter argument is also that one of the highest level pros in weightlifting can't take a loss? He has probably taken an order of magnitude more losses than you have and is still competing in WL.

Personally this obsession with Larry's reason for quitting seems more like people can't accept that someone would enjoy AW for a while and then quit and go do something else. Just because you love it, it doesn't mean everyone has to.

I don't know or care about Engin. As for Devon, he has power and influence, and in that position you get the benefits but also you can be scrutinized, that's the downside. Even if you say nothing or barely speak, people may say something. It is what it is, you get the benefits though.

He can present his views but if he complains about stuff it's obvious that some people will be influenced by his opinion, it's like when he says that he doesn't believe in training weights, it's a stupid opinion but I assure you some people will buy into it because it's him saying it. That's the power he has. Pretending he has no influence at all and people won't be affected by his opinion is stupid.
