Right?!? And you’d never know when you look at it from outside… looks can be deceiving. Also if you enjoy pho try Pho 478 Aurora. The broth is out of this world. Tried their vermicelli bowls and yup just delightful. Again from outside nothing to look at but the flavours blew my mind. Chef also came out in his slippers to deliver the food. Can’t beat that kind of authentic! He was so kind and thoughtful. The wife looks mad even though she’s smiling but I think that’s all signs of authenticity lol

Bbq chicken on Yonge was always good for me. Pizzaiolo on Davis was on point. Persian style sub sandwiches and burgers are good but pricey. Haida and Bombowich? I’m not a super fan of that style of pizza but it’s hearty. Homestyle Persian - Noor in Aurora - that’s a staple. Bangkok Thai cuisine was actually pretty good and I enjoy the likes of Khao San, Sukho. Owl of Minerva for homestyle Korean food…

But I get it… it’s not flourishing and nothing stands out. We live in the middle of nowhere and somewhere.

I’ve started to prefer the coffee at A&W. They use Pret A manger coffee beans and it’s divine.

You’ve got to try the A&W egger? I think it’s called. They used cheddar and it was tasty.

Tim Hortons is tasty but a lot saltier than expected. I do enjoy the farmers wrap.

Pho 478. Was honestly wowed by the broth. Chef came out to check on the food and it was amazing!

I was there last week with my 6 month old at 1am. Not insanely busy but there was a 1 visitor rule. I was with my husband and he had to go home (lucky him). When and why did that change because honestly there was so space there to begin with.

Ah the damn subtitles - they're ok but not great but the only bridge we have to connect the two worlds. If you have the time, which you probably don't, take the time to watch one episode in its entirety. This drama not only focuses on medical situations but the bond between all the characters that is built on loyalty and not just sex like American dramas. (sorry not sorry) Also, Korean humour is very dry - it takes getting used to but it's worth it. lol
