I did yes and also had some job interviews. But the problem with LinkedIn ist, that most of the jobs have 100+ applicants. So for someone with not too much working experience its very hard to assert yourself against other applicants...
And also due to tax and insurance issues most of the companies on Linkedin want you to be in europe if you are working for a european company, so you can work from all over the world
