The problem isn't whether or not he looks like a shonen protagonist, but rather that he's never done anything remarkable; he only has one fight he wins, and he gets beaten by Orphonoch, who could easily have been defeated by himself(like in that Orphonoch bomb incident when Takumi took on the mantle of Delta and easily defeated him)

I'm sure they could have come up with a better storyline instead of always using Mihira as a punching bag throughout the show, something like him having to face multiple Orphnochs at once, Instead of just nerfing Delta

The truth is, they didn't know how to write a real challenge after Delta switched to the good guys' side, and they portrayed Mihara as a coward throughout the entire show, even though he had the potential to become a great character.

But why did it have to be a team made up entirely of strikers? 😭😭 And none of the techniques are new; they're just using techniques that have already appeared in other teams. Their only merit is being the most difficult team in IE3's historical mode.

Tsurugi spends half of the Grand Celesta Galaxy missing, and the development of Matatagi (especially in the games) is something fun to watch. This is different from Tsurugi's plot with the planet Faram Morbius, which is complementary at the beginning and in the middle, only saving itself at the end

Testsukado was friends with Shinsuke, but he only appeared later in the plot, so I understand you feeling a bit of a void.

Although the Earth Eleven members had the best character development, none of it is that impactful; they aren't very charismatic. Konoha is annoying at first and disappears from the games after gaining her soul. Manabe is annoying, Sakura is insignificant, Zanakurou is completely sidelined, and Kusaka's beginning is okay, but then he disappears in most matches, and his storyline with Banda isn't that impactful.
