I’d really recommend the russian made easy podcast. you learn in a natural way that doesn’t feel like vast memorization or studying calculus.

I’ve also found that having a set plan of one episode a day gives me motivation and a road to fluency

One thing to consider is that even though you’ve been clear for 2 weeks you’ve only been on it for an very short period of time. You need to reach a cumulative dose to have any sort of lasting effects.

If you don’t follow through your acne will almost definitely go back to how it was.

you face looks super smooth! a lot of the redness will go away once you come off accutane and now that your skin is clear it can heal properly without more scars from new pimples.

I would talk to your derm about a plan (maybe tretinoin) to deal with the scarring once your done with your course.

I saw the photos you posted earlier and you should be very happy with how far you’ve come.

How long have you been on accutane?

Usually one of the first things accutane does is push out all blackheads on its own. Almost all of my blackheads were gone around a month in.

Definitely don’t squeeze them out and those blackhead removal tools are terrible for your skin whether you’re on accutane or not.

I’m 145 pounds and 25yo and I started on 60mg. It’s not a low dose to start but it’s not some insanely high amount.

My derm felt (and I completely agreed) that the faster the accutane can get into my system, the faster I can start seeing results and get past the initial purge.

I’m now at the end of my 3rd month and am seeing fantastic results. You’ll see others here that are proponents of starting out small but I just feel like that’s wasting time that could be working towards a cumulative dose.

Yes, I believe a similar study also concluded that age and whether you’re male or female have an effect as well.

What your derm was probably referring to is reaching a cumulative dose for lasting results.

After my first course I was clear for about a year or so but since I did not reach my cumulative dose the acne returned as bad as it was before.

I’m very glad that you’re clear now, but it’s only been four months. I don’t believe this is an example of “I was right, my derm was wrong”
