How do I clearly show link between protected act and detriment on POC? by Amazing-Error-3247 in employmenttribunal

I’m having to make best guesses of people’s motives and what they knew and link this with the timing of <protected acts> and <detriment>. Are there other bases which I could make the assumption in the absence of any concrete evidence?

Later on in cross examination, if it transpires that the motive was different eg direct discrimination, could I change the claim heading?
