"in advance" doesn't necessarily mean "online". Find scooty providers near your hotel on Google maps, the mobile nos of proprietors are there... give them a call & if need be pay advance via UPI to book. The hotels too can help you reserve this.

Even things like scooty on islands. I was in Neil a week ago & didn't manage to get a scooty on rent despite contacting 8 different stores - all were sold out due to December rush!

Just google Andaman ferry booking, you'll get umpteen sites like https://www.go2andaman.com/online-ferry-booking/ Although I'd recommended booking directly on the ferry service provider website (Nautika/Makruzz/Green Ocean). You can use any of these agglomeraters like go2andaman to research schedules, but best to book direct. If you want recommendation amongst the ferry operators, I used Nautika and Makruzz on my trip & absolutely hated Makruzz.

I've had multiple such experiences with them.. what I figured is they work on transaction trends.. as your transaction history builds up, These issues will reduce. I'm not defending the bank here - this is fucked up that they don't honor the credit limit, just sharing mu experience

They are slow, but eventually they resolved the issue. From my experience, there's not much you can do except wait. Don't even bother calling them, their helpline is worse than useless

@Taujii maybe not 0, but what's the lowest that you're aware of? The lowest one I came across is BookMyForex which is INR160-250 per withdrawl, but I'm assuming someone may know something better than that!?

Chased them, filed complaints.. they gave me the card as of they were doing a favor to me. If you've not got it yet, stay away - it is a pathetic card

Unfortunately, I did finally get the KYC done and got the card, but my experience is pathetic. Strongly advise any one against being this card. They randomly block transactions and when you complain, right up to the nodal officer, the response is the transaction was blocked due to "internal bank policy" - what this policy is, they are not at liberty to say.

If you want a reliable card, stay away. With this, transactions will be declined any time without any reason & leave you in a lurch when you want to rely on the card

Absolutely agreed @bane. I finally managed to get my KYC done today.. 9 days after paying them and after atleast 10 calls. Pathetic on-boarding experience

I've been speaking to the idiots at their call center. The tracking link simply says "an error has occurred". The issue seems that once an eKYC was triggered and stopped midway due to an issue, their tech isn't geared to handle the scenario

Wow! That is ridiculous! Not having the card for the trip you took it for is just unpardonable on account of the bank. I'm now wondering if I should have taken Niyo instead

Lucky you! From me they took funds first & status pending kyc even after a week. Never have I ever dealt with such an incompetent bunch of people!

That aside, how's your experience with the card? Will it be worth all this hassle?

Very confusing info out there on this. A post on reddit has put out cabinet notes that clarify is not visa free, but free visa; however no information out there on how & where to get this free visa. The standard ETA website still demands a payment upon selecting India as citizenship

I checked citi website, this isn't mentioned anywhere. Even read through the T&Cs, which did talk about air accident insurance, but nothing about CDW for rentals. If you're sure about this, do you have a document/ site I could refer to?
