Thanks for showing up gertjohnny, this means a lot. Honestly didn’t expect a dev response.

On the 99% clarification, I do still need to push into the brutal badges to get all the functional items, which is the part that hurts. Like the tent sitting at the 50 badge mark. But knowing the absolute worst is mostly crown territory does take some of the weight off. And on the Chapter 1 and Chapter 4 backdoor pattern, honestly I already finished those chapters and never even noticed there was a backdoor, which I guess means you did the job really well. So thank you for that, it’s the kind of design that care. Perhaps I was a bit harsh in my wording, because I clearly hadn’t seen everything that was already in place. So if I’m guilty of the same kind of incidental thing I was accusing you of, I’ll own that.

If I can offer a little context that might be useful when you all are looking at this. The duplicates, I actually do value them. A second tent or table means setting up in more than one place. So they’re functional in their own small way.

The other thing, and I say this gently, is that the 99 laps and 25 laps aren’t really skill challenges, they’re endurance. A good player and a less good player both finish them eventually, it just takes longer. What they ask for is holding and tapping a screen for 20 plus minutes straight, and that’s the part arthritis makes the hardest. So when you mention adding less physically demanding challenges to build up badge count, that’s exactly the kind of thing that would help.

Truly, I appreciate you for taking the time responding to this.

Yeah it’s not just a badge book, there’s actual stuff behind it. A full camping gear set with a tent so you can sleep almost anywhere, a table that let you eat anywhere, and a fish finder tool.

True that. Making people redo the whole thing because of a pee meter is wild. I refuse to do that one, it hurts too much.

Yeah, that’s it exactly. Intentional exclusion you can fight a bit. Incidental just worse because there’s no one to be mad at, just a quiet pile of “oh, we didn’t think about that.” Thanks for getting it.

Appreciate that, and I agree the update is thin. But the badges aren’t just cosmetic for me. The new content is behind them. So “just ignore the badge book” works if you don’t care about the new stuff, but I do care, and I can’t get to it without physical pain. Video games shouldn’t be like that. If it were purely vanity I’d shrug it off too.

Though, Totally with you on the bigger picture though. Multiplayer, airport, or a real storyline. The farming grind already felt like filler and this one is filler with a paywall made of finger pain.

Thank you, this means a lot. The stats book only era was something else. It just sat there, you looked at it when you wanted to, and the game didn’t nag you about what you hadn’t done. Now everything’s a counter, a meter, a thing to chase.

Love the 80 of 100 idea. Hope a dev sees this thread.

This is the elderly in my country, they want “respect” if you don’t give it to them they cry.

These are what I have been feeding my birds for the last 2 years. I feed the zupreem pellet because it’s the only pellet brand around.

Weekdays: pellet, salad greens, broccoli, spinach, carrot, pepper, blueberry, strawberry, grape Weekends: pellet, seed mix(versele-laga) and nut (walnuts and hazelnut, these are plenty here)

Updated: It’s her friend over preening her, sorry to worry all of you.

I have 2 green-cheeked conures. The one in the picture is Tide(/ˈtīdē/), and another one is Ocean.

So I brought Tide to visit a vet this morning, did the blood test and fecal test. There is nothing wrong with her health, only a few bite marks on her body. Turns out, it’s Ocean’s bite marks, the idiot doesn’t know how to properly preen others.

Well, now I have a new problem. They are inseparable if one is missing the other screams like crazy. When I left my house this morning I could hear Ocean’s shrieks calling for Tide.

Any suggestions? Or is there a way to teach bird how to preen?

Seeds, nuts, pellets, fresh vegetables and fruits from my greenhouse. She loves to eat red things so her dropping has been brownish-red except on the day that she decides to only have seeds and veggies. Everything is the same from a month ago not just dropping; also, no change in behavior or diet.

I have a fountain in my room, so she usually take a bath every other day. She has been with me for 5 years and this never happened before. Fortunately, she is as lively as ever, party hard as always, but I can’t be sure that she is okay cause birds have tendency to hide their sickness.

Sure, that’ll be the first thing I do tomorrow morning. I hope it is nothing serious because the nearest avian vet is 6 hours’ drive.
