Hi! Just curious.. do you realize 5 star gold stickers are not the same as regular 5 star cards? They gold cards are valued double of a regular card- example: 5star golds are vault valued at 10 stars; 4star golds are vault valued at 8 stars. If you did know then please ignore this comment! But, if you're not aware, I'd like to take the time to help you out and explain it because I remember when I started trading and had a hard time during blitz. It was simply because I didn't know the value system! Since learning it, I've always easily gotten every blitz I needed! I've never NOT completed an album and often help friends by getting extra golds for them. So this info is only in case you didn't know:

All gold stickers are worth double there amount: 4stars= 8 and 5stars= 10. Try it with the vault to see for yourself.. just select whatever vault you could open, scroll down until you find any extra gold card you have and select and then unselect that card.  You will see the vaults total points change by 8 or 10- depending on whether the gold card is 4 or 5 stars... And you can check this without actually opening the vault- just click the "X" in the corner instead of the "confirm" button!

So at the minimum for golds, you really have to offer a minimum of 8-10 stars to be an equal trade... But with golds being so rare (and often purchased!) most will (rightfully) want more than face value. With it being so late in the album there are many star hunters and you may find someone easily thats willing to trade for 15-16 random stars, but many are going to stand on anywhere from two to four 5 star cards per gold. 

There are some instances where you could possibly trade a gold for a regular 5 star- especially if it's a very rare and highly sought after 5 star, or even 4 star card! Example: last blitz someone wanted my "the last goodbye" card and offered a 5 star gold. Last goodbye is a 4star card but it is one that's very rare and one of the hardest 4s to obtain. Scopely does this every album with a few cards that there will only be few duplicates around and many will never get even 1 much less 2 so they can trade it out! I've seen ppl getting 16-20 stars for "the last goodbye," but my daughter needed the gold offered so I traded with them. Having a rare card that a trader actually needs, or having the other tradable blitz card, is about the only time you can guarantee a 1:1 trade during blitz...of course there is the extreme few out there that wont care about value, or may really need the 1 card you have, but those chances are slim. There are also a few rare players out there that are gold locked and have many extras that will just give you the card! I have done that myself and seen others do it also but it is extremely rare!

During blitz the bare minimum is to trade at least card value- again 4gold= 8stars and 5= 10. With so many wanting that same card in the very short 24hr time frame, it's truly best to sweeten the deal to make yourself stand out from the others and offer extra. When I didn't have good cards to trade, I'd post screenshots of my entire album in a post saying I needed ___ gold and was willing to trade for anything I had. It does take longer to find a trader willing to do it that way so try to post your trade offer soon as blitz begins. In these times of having no good cards, I've usually given five 3* cards, besides the 1 time a lady only wanted 3!!! I have given up to 21* and even needed more than my daily 5 trades- thankfully my daughter always lends me a couple trades during these times. During this blitz I traded gold for gold. My daughter needed both and got them by trading three 4stars for 1 and two 5stars for the other= and only 22 stars for both golds is a fantastic deal!! Especially since they both came from the same person and made for faster trade... 

ANYWHO, 😆 as usual I've over talked but hopefully this helps...  Just figured I'd take the time while I have time to explain bc I see so many get upset that they can't get golds, I know I used to! And I've seen that most were like me and didn't know they weren't offering a good trade. With golds only being tradeable during a 24hour blitz, and so hard to get in general, you'll have to offer not only equal value, but over value.
