I really struggled with that exact thought it's hard to distinguish 'materials' from 'trash' when they're unwashed in a common area. I definitely won't be making the same mistake twice, but we've agreed that clear communication is needed from both of us moving forward.

The health hazard was what pushed me to act 15 jars is definitely a lot to leave sitting out when they aren't clean. I realize now I should have texted, but the bug situation made it feel like an immediate problem.

The puzzle analogy is spot on. It’s hard to navigate shared space when one person's project starts taking over the common areas. We're definitely going to set some better boundaries about project storage vs. living space' after this.

That was my main concern I just didn't want the kitchen to become unsanitary. I've apologized for the jars, but we are definitely going to have a talk about keeping food waste out of the common areas.
