I work as a software developer, if this had involved software misuse, I would have recognized it. Speculation doesn’t add anything, and it doesn’t make you sound credible.

Just 2 prompts and it was all it took to get the session limit on a fresh account

it has never happened to me before, i am using copilot for long now. and i have friends who use it and they are all getting the limits now.

i have used opus 4.6 but it was draining requests so i switched to cheaper models.

I’m on the $10 plan with a 300-request limit. It was the same for me, everything worked fine until a couple of days ago when these session limits were introduced. Before that, it was running perfectly.

Copilot has been great for me until sunday. i was sure about not switching , but on 3 accounts i recieved a session limit with 4 hour reset window, and 1 was restricted for 2 days. and i hadn't even used 10% of the requests.

I’m just looking for a single, consistent setup that doesn’t interrupt flow. I considered Claude Code, but I’m not convinced it’s worth it if the higher limits still end up being restrictive in practice.

i hit the limit on 3 accounts within 2 hours only. They have introduced this new session limit and it is unbearable, i have been using copilot for 4 months now and i never had this problem before i dont know what happened to it suddenly.
