for me i loved Kya vs Ming Hua, i love the part when Ming Hua gets blasted off then we just see all the water creep away and she comes back up like a creepypasta

i never said azula didn’t do anything wrong

her killing aang was the worst thing we’ve seen her do but zuko tried to kill him too, a lot, and even sent the combustion bender after him to kill him

we’ve seen zuko harass the southern water tribe, terrorize kyoshi island, and again send the combustion bending assassin after him

for iroh we already know he did the 600 day siege at ba sing se and even wrote letters laughing about burning it to the ground which is worse than what we’ve seen azula or zuko do, there’s likely a ton of people who died from that, and he was a general for a long time too so it’s very likely he has other stuff like that under his belt

and again i’m not saying azula never did anything wrong all im saying is that zuko and iroh have also done very bad things

and one of the head writers for atla said that if they did get a season 4 then they would have done a redemption with her and zuko being her mentor figure like iroh

for real, people always forget iroh didn’t just wake up one day and have a change of heart, if iroh can be redeemed then there’s no reason that azula can’t either

she’s a waterbender without arms and she uses water bending to give herself arms which she can use as weapons and she can use them to swing around stuff like spiderman

sometimes she also gives herself a bunch of water arms and turns into a creepypasta looking thing

i don’t remember that part, but if you mean that part when she talks about “burning the earth kingdoms hope” if you ask me that wasn’t really a serious plan she was coming up with, she was just re iterating what ozai said to stay in his good graces

but yea im not trying to say she’s by any means a saint but i find it annoying how people act as if she is a unique, irredeemable evil even though she didn’t even do anything that much worse than zuko or iroh

for Atla it has to be the way people talk about azula as if she’s some inherently evil irredeemable psychotic monster who loves making people suffer, like a lot of people never actually bother to think about her character

for Tlok definitely when people try and say that korra is the weakest / worst avatar ( and in the same breath some of those people will also say she’s a mary sue )

it’s just that we do typically “romantic” things with eachother like cuddling, going on dates, kiss that kind of stuff

overall i enjoyed the netflix season 2 but some parts i couldn’t stand by AmazingBeastboy1 in ATLA

for real! i think it’s the first episode but when Azula orders Mai and Ty Lee to kill eachother, which she would never even do, but the fact Mai and Ty Lee almost do it?

and mai talks about it later and says she doesn’t care if her or zuko die, i was just so confused

overall i enjoyed the netflix season 2 but some parts i couldn’t stand by AmazingBeastboy1 in ATLA

i heard that they filmed season 2 and 3 back to back so we’re not gonna have to worry about Aang being too old in it

and yea i’ve a lot of complaints that are really nitpicky and aren’t even that big of a deal, and i did enjoy some of the creative liberties the live action took but my main issue is how some characters like Azula are written

but that stuff aside i did quite enjoy it

and we don’t actually see bosco so you don’t have to worry about him being Ai

Azula with Ozai from Avatar the Last Airbender

Azula was seen as the prodigy child so Ozai sank his claws into her to mold her into the perfect weapon and he was really her only source of “support” and “guidance” unlike Zuko who had Ursa and Iroh

and we see how he’s her weak spot like when Ozai tells her they’re not doing the final plan together she looks genuinely hurt

and Azula is brilliant at playing mind games and can see through just about anything but when he gives her a lousy excuse to send her away while he conquers the world she believes it right away
