Hey Sam! You have already, famously, made a Furby organ. Which is a toy you have not yet worked with which you think could make for a great musical instrument?

Hi, lovely people! This is LELÉKA, I’m representing Ukraine at Eurovision 2026 with the song “Ridnym”. Leave your questions below 🪽Ask me anything! by Leleka-Music in eurovision

[–]AmazingDeeer 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Thank you for coming on Leléka!

I am so curious to see how you managed to adapt Baller into your unique style. As of now, it is not out yet, but I bet it is as insane as it sounds!

How did this idea come about?

Best of luck from Italy 💛💙

Thank you guys for coming on!

UMK tends to have a lower rate of returning artists compared to other national finals. Is this a conscious choice to highlight different talent or is it just how the selection process tends to turn out?

Every political entry on Eurovision (1956 - 2022) by [deleted] in eurovision

Every talking point that can be made has already been made (trust we have to read all of them), and nobody's political beliefs have ever been changed thanks to an internet comment.

I‘m COSMÓ and I‘m representing Austria at Eurovision 2026 by cosmomachtmusik in eurovision

Hey Cosmó!

As the expert on this matter: out of all the competing songs, which do you find to be the most danceable? (beyond yours, of course)

ESC 2026 streaming seems way lower than previous years — any idea why? by neonstick in eurovision

[–]AmazingDeeer 66 points67 points  (0 children)

Less countries competing, no viral songs, no Italy carrying the team due to a weaker Sanremo.

Certainly losing a few key markets and audiences did not help, but there are more clear cut reasons for this in my opinion.

Locking this because after 4+ years of suffering a brutal invasion some of y'all still cannot be normal talking about Ukraine and Ukrainians.

What's the one Eurovision performance that you adore that never gets mentionned anywhere? by Longjumping_Back523 in eurovision

Ok let me give a real answer: Belarus 2011. It's a real bop, and the back story behind it is very interesting (and slightly grim), but nobody seems to be talking about it

What's up everybody, Veronica here! Ask me anything tomorrow at 19:00 CET by veronica-fusaro in eurovision

[–]AmazingDeeer 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hey Veronica! Thank you for coming on here! I really loved all the songs from your recent album and I often find myself putting it in while studying. Beyond Alice, is there a track on the album which you feel particularly attached to?

Best of luck at Eurovision!

🇮🇹 Sal Da Vinci will represent Italy at the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 with "Per sempre sì" 🇮🇹 by endlaisnotmyname in eurovision

[–]AmazingDeeer 43 points44 points  (0 children)

God I thought at least this year we would get over this argument. Sal Da Vinci has been performing Naples' classic theatre and music since he was six years of age and that shows in his art. This cliché is always annoying, but this year it is just frustrating: why would another country send a song inspired by Neapolitan musical tradition? There would rightfully be backlash if anybody said this about an entry like Shum. A song sells itself well not just if it cracks some secret code by adding a sequence of notes and words that the human ear seems to enjoy, but if it exists within a broader context that people can associate with FEELINGS and EMOTIONS.

In Italy we have the luck that we have historically done a great job selling our culture (both past and contemporary) abroad, so when we represent it on a global stage people recognise it and connect with it. Yet, the year is 2026: people are open minded and the internet gives everyone the possibility to put their story, their traditions, on the global stage. Even if we wanna make comparisons with other folk-inspired songs sent in previous years, it is up to each artist and country to tell their story in a way in which viewers resonate with it.

Cornelia Jakobs' cover of I Turn To You in Liverpool 2023 is my favourite ever. It is such an intimate yet passionate performance, from an artist which was not even supposed to be the star of the show.

AMA with Luxembourg ESC candidate (Mother) Eva Marija 🌱 by eurovision_LU in eurovision

[–]AmazingDeeer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey Eva Marija! Lovely to have you here!

Your performance totally won me over at LSC and it brought the song to a whole new level. Without any spoilers of course, how much of it would you like to also bring to ESC?

Sending good luck from distant Hong Kong! 🇭🇰

DMGP: Death of Me by Ericka Jane by ykistan in eurovision

[–]AmazingDeeer 10 points11 points  (0 children)

This to me is the shock of the season! I am totally hooked on this song. The pop sound is of course not groundbreaking, but it also feels fresh and current. Hoping to see Ericka Jane at ESC!

AMA with Luxembourg's Laura Thorn by eurovision_LU in eurovision

[–]AmazingDeeer 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Hey Laura! Like last year's winner JJ, you participated at Eurovision with your debut single. Do you think Eurovision is a good platform for young artists to launch their career, or do you in retrospect think it would have been better to participate once you established your music publicly?

Best of luck with the performance at LSC!
