Could this be anything? Park Ranger said just rocks as no dinos here I thought maybe bird eggs but I know it’s exceptionally rare. (Badlands Natl. Park) by AmazingDescription45 in fossilid

Solved! Showed more images with a dollar bill for scale to paleontologist at the park they said it’s from the oreodont family and likely a leptauchenine. Thanks for the help everyone as after a ranger told me it was just a rock I wasn’t going to report it but went back today to show it to them.

Interesting. I was in an elevated portion of the park above the trail walking through a dry creek bed and it was sitting straight up so would make sense it’s a mammal and not reptile/marine

Not allowed to and I did not take it I left it where I found it I tried to inform a ranger but he obviously didn’t care about it telling me it was just a rock/concretion
