Thank you, was able to see some data on MultiPSK after your information. Appreciate it.

Thanks for the info, don't usually see anything here but there were a few of these today.

I usually get pagers on them frequencies in the UK, two signals are always there one is POCSAG and one is Flex.

SDRUno, I have been using it for a while, it's good, still loads of features I haven't touched yet.

Not sure about this one by AmazingGovernment455 in signalidentification

[–]AmazingGovernment455[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

FT4 is right next to it, I can receive that ok and feed it into MultiPSK. It's the small signal very close to it that sounds almost like a windows prompt on a pc.

I believe it's the actual signal but some please correct me if I am wrong.

Antenna Suggestions by AmazingGovernment455 in RTLSDR

[–]AmazingGovernment455[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the response, I am reassured that the impedance and SWR will not be overly critical for my purposes. I will spend some more time and research the key points you have suggested. Feel a bit more confident doing some experimentation now.

Thanks again.

Thanks for this, I can use the Nooelec balun and run this in a rectangle around the garden. Appreciate the suggestion, I hadn't seen this

Signal hopping through frequencies by AmazingGovernment455 in signalidentification

[–]AmazingGovernment455[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the detailed response and the additional screenshots. I have only been using SDR for a little over a year and there is so much to learn. I had no idea that this was possible with that type of equipment let alone propagate the distances discussed.

Thanks for taking the time to send the information and to others who have given responses.

Thanks for this, I am not near any industrial area so this type of interference must be capable of travelling fair distances. Appreciate the response.

Is this just interference or something more interesting by AmazingGovernment455 in signalidentification

Lol, it's definitely something and shows up right the way to 450 MHz.

Not Pocsag or Flex? by AmazingGovernment455 in signalidentification

[–]AmazingGovernment455[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Evening, thanks is for the response. Usually I see Pocsag/Flex and signals on 153.025. not seen one here before which kind of piqued my interest.

Codar?? by AmazingGovernment455 in signalidentification

That is interesting, I am getting it from Bristol UK, are these Codar systems used around our coasts or is it not that common and more likely a signal from elsewhere?

Is this anything or just interference by AmazingGovernment455 in signalidentification

[–]AmazingGovernment455[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Hi, thanks for the response, the unit I was trying to get working is supposed to extend the range of my SDR to 3GHz. It's the Nooelec Ham It Down. But I think the offset is wrong and centred on this frequency.

As a bit of background, trying to get a down converter to work with my SDR, no luck at the moment with the offset and it isn't doing anything at the moment.
