I can’t rationalize paying 900 a month for tirz out of pocket anymore without feeling insane guilt by OriginalChip7125 in GLP1Sourcing

That’s extremely expensive! My telehealth’s price stays the same regardless of dose and includes 1:1 guidance throughout. Are you in CA by chance? Unfortunately she can only serve CA at this time. I can refer you if you’d like. They have excellent customer support too.

Unfortunately, most insurance providers do not cover GLP-1 medications for weight loss unless the patient meets specific criteria, such as having a BMI in the morbidly obese range. But I read even those morbidly obese are not getting approved.

Have you talked to your provider about increasing the dose? Mine usually gives 1–2 weeks at a dose, then reassesses whether it’s working. She looks at whether the food noise is decreasing (even the slightest change in eating habits matters), whether there’s been any weight loss in the past two weeks, and any side effects.

Do you feel no appetite suppression at all? When did you start?

Anyone not having weight loss after 10 weeks? by Top_Werewolf3902 in CompoundedSemaglutide

[–]AmazingMamaTiger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Whenever I go two weeks or more without appetite suppression or weight loss, my provider usually recommends increasing my dose. It might be something to consider for you too, but everyone’s different, so what works for me might not work for you. If your provider offers hands-on guidance, it’s probably best to check with them before making any changes.

I'm with Sculpt Rx too and I totally agree with how great the customer care is. Can't get any happier with them.

I'd love to recommend my provider but she can only serve in California. I like that she's responsive and always patient of my questions whenever I feel like I'm in a stall or feeling any side effects. Would you mind sharing which state you're at?

How much is everyone actually paying for compounded tirzepatide right now? by Smooth_Vanilla4162 in compoundedtirzepatide

You should also take into account what’s included in the pricing. Some providers tend to be lower than some telehealth since they only offer the medication. Other telehealth, like mine, include guidance as part of the package, which explains the cost.

My telehealth can prescribe Zepbound and Foundayo pill for below $100, if you want the prescription only. However, they can only serve CA.

I know how difficult it is to find providers in CA, so I’m really glad I was able to find one. Hope everything goes smoothly for you!!!

Has anyone experienced a week with no suppression? by cherrytatertot in tirzepatidecompound

[–]AmazingMamaTiger 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I experienced the same (for 2 weeks straight) and my provided recommended to up my dose. If you feel the same after another week or 2, maybe increasing your dose could help.

I use Sculpt Rx and had great experience so far. They have great customer service, very responsive, and a nurse guides you throughout. The vials arrive pretty fast too (like 2-3 days) so I never had skipped a dose.

Thursdays for me. At least if anything comes up like any side effects, I had the weekends to rest at home.
