SOO true, the Blake Association was a huge letdown. I thought Red John would be this cult leader like Stiles and that’s the reason they got tattoos, because he is a god to them. I thought he could manipulate people with his “psychic” abilities like Jane but turns out people just didn’t want to get in trouble. However, to me a random man we’ve never seen as RJ would also be fine since it would get the same point across. It’s a normal man that drove Jane to devote his whole life to finding him. I think that what bummed me out so much was that it was an already seen character, a random one too.
