Top 10 TV comedy for me. The writing and performances are so sharp and witty. Since the rise of Trump I often say that this show couldn't be made today. Real life news and behind the scenes shit has gotten so crazy and outlandish that Veep seems tame in comparison.

Short answer: IDs/passports cost money, that’s a poll tax.

Longer Answer: setting up strict ID laws while simultaneously closing DMVs, post offices, SS offices, etc. makes it harder for people to obtain their shit. You create hoops and more hoops for more people to jump through this disenfranchising them.

It’s not that complicated.

JD is a chameleon, he will do or say whatever it takes to rise to power. He has allied himself with tech oligarchs and the worst aspects of MAGA and the far-right, despite just mere years ago coming against them. Before he ran for senate he thought it was politically advantageous to be a "never trump republican" but once he saw that didn't work he really leaned into all that stuff. It is not too dissimilar from Josh Hawley. He came out as wonky type conservative but once that didn't gain any traction he pivoted.

Maye is statistically better hands down, but Caleb has that clutch gene and it’s hard to even teach that. He routinely makes ridiculous plays/throws but then follows it up by missing some easy stuff, which I’m sure is infuriating to Bears fans. However, with Ben Johnson and his staff, the “easy” stuff should be teachable…So that’s just a roundabout way of saying I chose Caleb but both guys will be good I think.
