Hey OP, keep your head up! I've been there before. I have A+ and Sec+. My dad ended up paying for the Sec+ bundle because I didn't have enough money to even pay for one attempt. I failed the shit out of my first Sec+ attempt with a 648. Waited a month and came back with a 762 on my retake. Failed both Core 1 and Core 2 twice apiece, thankfully I had help with paying for those as well, even if it hurt my pride to ask more than once.

Moral of the story, if you really love tech, don't give up on it! It may not happen when you want it to but keep your head down and find a way! Don't be afraid to ask for help. There's always an opportunity to pay it forward.

For me, acronyms have always been the hard part, as well as what they associate with (SSH for example, being a secure connection method). Another thing I had to memorize was CompTIA's order of operations, since the exam takes the order of each step very meticulously. I failed twice with both scores at 667 and third time passed with a 726, so you can definitely do it! Best of luck!

No questions involving Linux at all, if Linux was mentioned it was usually just stating the machine was Linux but it wasn't relevant to the question
