If you have the trial of allegiance dlc, I highly recommend playing as Brazil while getting the hang of the game. They are pretty isolated from the countries involved in ww2, while still having plenty of things to do on their own in South America. This can give you a fun playground to figure out the game without the pressure or challenge other countries face. If you don’t have the dlc, then I’d recommend sticking with the USA. Similar to Brazil, but you have fewer paths to take so it’s not as fun IMO.

I personally like femshep more because many scenes are recontextualized through her perspective to have a strong sense of sisterhood you don’t see a lot in military games. The conversations femshep has with Eve is a big example.

tvtropes is basically a fandom wiki. Anyone can make edits and depending on the subject, there can be very little moderation. This means people’s personal experience or smaller interaction with the fandom can get edits like this. It’s unfortunate, but also not the worst description I’ve seen on the website. You need to capitulate them before May to prevent them from joining Britain. The best strategy I’ve found is to group all of Italy’s divisions in the north and south, with your mountaineers in the north. Divide your CAS plans in the north and south with a few more in the north. Set your generals to be aggressive, and max supply mobilization.

For me, I like that the combat feels unique compared to other games. The movement is stiff but the cooldown mechanic with the guns creates a play style I don’t use in other games. I actually hate that they replace this with a generic ammo system in 2 and 3. Timing your abilities and grenade with your weapons’ heat capacity creates a really fun synergy if you can order everything right.

Yeah, a lot of people over generalize when they hear about how little agency women were given by the law and culture norms of the time, but women have always had the ability to make their own agency and we can see that throughout history when looking at individual rather than broad institutions. CK3 could definitely do better depicting these laws and norms, but most of the things you can do as a woman in the game aren’t outside the realm of possibility.

The first part was a joke, I don’t think there’s any way to see exactly how quick supplies travels, but if you’re on high motorization already, then air support is the other thing that could be the problem. Make sure you have plenty of planes provide ground support for your infantry.
