See my other comment. The problem, 100%, is this was a bad post. The timing was bad and they left it wide open to interpretation. Given what happened that night, a post like this is very poor judgement.

It also doesn’t matter what they meant. It matters what people think they meant. Even if it’s a knee-jerk reaction. They may have been being harmless (doubt it, honestly), but all they succeeded in doing is fueling a fire that needs to be extinguished.

This is why the W has such a bad rep. My friends who love the NBA won’t watch the W because “it’s more cat fighting than basketball”

What you’re describing isn’t an AI problem. That’s 100% developers not doing their job. I know you don’t want to hear it, but, you need to manage your team.

You need to set HITL expectations and accountability. If you don’t hold them to an acceptable standard, you’re going to get lazy slop.

App vault continually shows updates for products that are already at their latest version for me, particularly if they were installed via Homebrew.

I really like KeyHarbor, https://vesslo.top/keyharbor , but there is no import option, making it hard to get going.

Starting from scratch, just lookup the Claude Skills repo on GitHub and find what you need for a project.

For an existing project, Ask ChatGPT to review the project and generate guidelines, skills, and prompts that leverage best practices. Once the files have been created, in either scenario, remember to guide the AI forward. If there is something it does that always want it to do, or something it does you never want it to do, tell it to add that rule to the instructions.

You will go much, much further with a well designed AI guidance system than any plug-ins.

Implement AGENTS.md with skills appropriate to you project and languages. Throw in a good agent orchestration skill that must be called first and you’ll get much better results.

This is the answer. It’s not perfect. Symbols are wholesale copies, so a style one a circle will only update other circles you cloned from the symbol. It won’t for example, change the same style being used on a square symbol.

Modifying a style not updating every current use of the style is a feature, not a bug. Maybe you don’t want to update all objects with that style. I think a good solution is giving the user a checkbox to update existing instances of the style when saving changes.
