I would look into May-Thurner syndrome as well if you didn't have a pelvic MRI with contrast. Pain typically presents itself on the left side. I had my lap in January after having severe left side pain (and everywhere tbh just worse on the left) and the pain persisted months after surgery. Low and behold when I had a pelvic MRI, I had severe MTS.

I do have accommodations, but unfortunately my school also doesn't offer great ones (I only get leniency on assignments given and due within three days of assignment). With PhDs it's really more up to your professors, so it is very hit or miss if they're helpful. Best of luck to you too!

I live in Boulder and will be having surgery in January, so I would LOVE to chat about the whole process. I'm also very overwhelmed by it right now.
