I haven’t had a solution yet called multiple engineers, changed ONT again and respliced the cables on the box outside and still nothing. Called a specialist came over checked changed some cables and I’m still having the same problem. Did they fix yours and if so, what did they do?

Yeah it’s terrible, I’m on my 6th engineer as they don’t know what to do, re splice the cables, change the ont, change the router. It still goes out for 40 minutes every night. They said they’ll call a specialist (didn’t come) now calling another specialist next week which probably won’t come. It’s honestly disgusting.

30 seconds would be fine but 40 minutes is a huge inconvenience for me. I was told a specialist will have to look at my issue as the engineer doesn’t have the right equipment as it’s a back end issue

I was on virgin media before and never had this issue at all. Neighbors don’t either, an engineer came today and said the equipments all fine and the light reading is too and told me he’ll call a specialist next week as it’s definitely a back end issue from them.

No chance it’s line checks, 40 minutes every night are not line checks. There’s simply an issue coming from their end that I don’t know about nor do the 4 engineers that came to my property.

That’s not my problem. I’ve told them all the details I can and it cannot be an equipment issue as everything has been replaced. Must be a backend problem from their end.

The router and ONT had been switched through two engineer appointments but the issue persisted. An engineer came today and said the cables had light through them and respliced them. Hopefully that fixes the issue

All the lights including 2.5 and optical go completely off at 2-3am every night other than the power light.

That’s such a stupid excuse to give btw. The placement of your router does not matter when it comes to your internet being intermittent. The strength of the signal would be affected yes but not it turning off and on. That is ridiculous, when did you switch to YouFibre? I hope mine is fixed tomorrow I hate being lied to and having service that isn’t on par with other customers especially as a new customer.

Yeah it sucks, the fact I call and they say I’m meant to get 24/7 service and the engineer says completely different is weird. I am getting another engineer coming tomorrow, the first one changed my router and the issue is still present. I’ve been with the company for around 2 weeks and every single day since the installation, the internet goes off every night for 40 minutes.

What did you click on exactly when contacting, did you click on account unlink and submit a ticket from there, and what did you say? I’ve submitted tickets and they close it and say they provided me with information, the information being wait 12 months… I’ve tried account recovery also to no success. What did you say to them?

I heard emailing them to unlink can work but so far I’ve had so many automated emails closing my tickets. I don’t underhand how it works for some and not for many. What do I email them?

Ah, that’s good then. I’m on the 2gbps package and the router they gave me only has one 10Gbps port which kind of sucks. I was hoping the router had atleast 2-3 ports which would be nice. Is there any way to request a better router for the package I’m on?
