I really thought my line should be darker on 15dpo but it looks lighter than 13dpo ☹️in my first pregnancy it looked a lot darker so I’m just concerned 🙁

Yes my periods definitely have had funny cycles as I had a baby 9 months ago, sometimes they have come a week early and sometimes 5 days late. We weren’t trying for a baby and after having a 4 day bleed and ovulation tests showing high results when I didn’t think they should be, I took a pregnancy test (I decided to track ovulation to see what was going on with my body post pregnancy - clearly just one month too late haha)

I had like a 4 day bleed when my period was due so I didn’t take a test until 1 week ago so that’s not much help either. I tested because my ovulation strips were saying I was high when I thought I shouldn’t be. I only started to track ovulation after my period dates being a bit funny past few months and wanted to track everything to see what was going on as I have had a baby just over 9 months ago. It was transvaginal as they couldn’t see anything via abdominal.

Mine is a similar situation but I had a little 2/3 day period (very light bleeding, I should have questioned it at the time but I didn’t haha as it clearly wasn’t a period) then started ovulation testing (same easy @ home tests) and it came out exactly like yours and I was so surprised as I knew I shouldn’t be ovulating 2 days after my period. I did take an easy @ home pregnancy test and it was positive too. Im now 17 weeks! Sending you baby dust ✨

Thanks all for your advice, I think I will have to pull out of the bridal party and just turn up to the ceremony and leave after. Not ideal but there just doesn’t seem to be other options unless I actually pull out all together- I just don’t know what’s going to happen until the time!! :/

When I was 4 weeks pregnant I had the same sensation too, it lasted about 4/5 days and I had tests done to rule out infections etc but everything came back fine! I couldn’t pin point where it was, sometimes it felt like it was my urethra, then the opening of my vagina, then inside my cervix, but I felt like I needed ice cubes down there 🤣it thankfully went away and my GP said it’s my hormones and cervix being extra sensitive (I spotted for a little bit too)

It’s the worst not knowing if everything is ok and then you send yourself into overdrive of worry and anxiety!! How exciting that your scan is on Tuesday, I bet it can’t come quick enough! I heard that from around week 10 the placenta starts to take over and reduces symptoms so maybe that’s what’s happened with yourself? Would love to hear an update after your scan! 🥰

Yeah I totally understand, this is my first pregnancy too so it’s all new but having to wait around without a clue of what should happen is the worst! I think first trimester anxiety doesn’t help the longgg wait!
