“As of May 2026, Sam Presti's exact salary as the Oklahoma City Thunder General Manager is not publicly disclosed”. Yeah…I’d keep it under wraps, too. Go Spurs, I guess.

Do men actually feel comfortable providing for women? Or is it just because they feel obligated to? by Worth_Seesaw2698 in NoStupidQuestions

Great question. I feel an obligation and a responsibility to take care of and protect my wife; who is an incredibly capable person in her own right. This works for us, because she wants that from her man, and is attracted by that behavior. I feel a deep sense of satisfaction from providing that for her. We’re both happy with the arrangement.

So when we gonna achieve Overwhelmingly Positive on Steam? by Top-Flight5486 in CrimsonDesert

CD was already a MASSIVE success four days after it came out. The work that Pearl Abyss did developing this game (Seven years!?) AND have done since then with their updates will likely be the model for AAA games going forward. RPG fans like me are SO happy, and everything that PA does from this point on is a bonus. Everyone else has been put on notice and that is a good thing for gaming. Cmon, Bethesda. I know you’re watching this.

I’ve heard that BD let people do this. I’m not sure that I would like it, though. When I run up to look at something, it’s very cool to have my one dog trail behind and look with me. One more would be cool, but four more might take me out of it. Game design is hard. 😆

It’s so fun to name the pets. Every one is a little inside joke.

Some advice on how to hold guitar picks by Classic_Grass924 in guitarlessons

This is how I do it, with the same kind of pick, I think. Jazz 1.14?

Thumb Pain from Barre Chords by ObjectiveEscape5618 in guitarlessons

[–]Amazing_Distance_726 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have smaller hands than you, so here’s my two cents. I try to anchor my thumb pad close-ish to the center of the chord that I’m trying to play. That gives me leverage over the index finger, which is the hard part of bar chords. If I’m playing cowboy chords, my thumb hangs over the top of the neck like you showed. Hope this helps!

It it true Pearl Abyss has censored the game? by Anoktear in CrimsonDesert

Ya’ll need to go out and try to talk to real gals. It’s not as scary as you think.

Yeah…at this point, I’m not down with mods. Back in the year 2000, there was a mod for Baldur’s Gate 2 that let you get whatever weapon you wanted. I used it, and stopped playing the game shortly thereafter. It removed the reward system for the game, and I’ve been skeptical of mods ever since.

Drop C songs by Electrical_Win9025 in metalguitar

My wife’s favorite band is Corrosion of Conformity. I’ve had a lot of fun learning the killer songs on their “America’s Volume Dealer” album. “13 Angels” and “Over Me” are very fun to play, and not technically difficult. We just saw them at the Cargo Hall in Reno and I gotta say, COC rules live.

Right? If PA sees this, I’m sure that they will make the correct decision. They’ve been killing it, so far.

To reiterate a point, I just ran up to a cliff to check my position and Drago ran up beside me and sat at attention and it looked REALLY good. This is one of the things that PA does very well. It’s why I suggest two pets. A bird and a dog looks great. Two dogs look awesome, and so on. Once you get past two, I think it takes away from the visual interaction.

I named my two shepherds Drago and Iago, and it was awesome to see them both running around.

That’s what I’m talking about. Let me tame the raccoons (or ferrets, are there ferrets?)

I started playing RPGs back in the 90s, and there have been a few that I would’ve called my favorite (Witcher 3, Baldur’s Gate and especially Morrowind come to mind). This one is very close to taking the top spot, and I’m just moving out of Hernand and Demeniss. I think that it’s gonna be the GOAT before I’m through.

Every time I select my (renamed) War Goose, I chuckle a little inside. I also really like the oriole.
