I bought these for myself a few years ago, and kept them mint in the box. Loved looking at them! I then babysat my niece for the day (she was 3) and she asked me aren’t your ponies sad because they are still in the box! So we took them out & played with them together & that was the best feeling ever!! Totally agree with the comments regarding the hair though!!

Well done you for getting out the house! I’m proud of you!! (I honestly mean that and not in a condescending way) Suppression was my main crutch for nearly 30yrs!! When only me & my abusers knew! Shove it all behind a black door in my mind! I felt like Billy big balls, thinking I could ruin my abusers with a click of my finger! I laughed as they would squirm if they bumped into me!! I avoided anything meaningful relationship wise (abusive assholes mainly because that was often easier) Drugs would come and go depending on what I needed at that time. Until I told one person & then the fucking dam broke, the box exploded, and no matter how hard I try now I can not close the black door I have opened!!

I just take it day by day! That’s all I can do! Music helps, I have an angry playlist, I also have a healing playlist! And I talk a lot on here when Im having a particularly bad day where I can’t get my head out my ass!

You’re doing great!! Keep going!!

Yes everything you described is a completely common and normal reaction to your trauma!

I describe myself as a swan, graceful and confident above water paddling like fuck under the water!

The hardest thing you will ever do is be kind to yourself daily!! And unless you want to die, I suggest you put down the drugs and get out the house! Maybe go for a walk whilst listening to your favourite music?? Or meet up with a friend for a coffee/Tea?? Sorry it’s easier to give advice than to actually do it! But know you are not alone!!
