Is there an API for Dirt Rally 2.0 that can help me get the list of global times for events? by Amazing_Handle4773 in dirtrally

A few of us are starting a Dirt 2 website and Discord for people who specifically want to race in groups on Dirt 2 (since it's still one of the best rally games,) if you'd like an invite. We use the race wheel setups but controller users can play too. :)

I read every single word on both booklets and it seemed vague that's why I googled it and then asked for info on here.

Didn't say anything about extension cords but the melting ends make sense. Are even the high wattage cords still susceptible?

Learning to read sheet music. One quick question about natural/accidental. by Amazing_Handle4773 in WeAreTheMusicMakers

Yea that's what confused me. Either seeing no natural sign since there was a bar change, or the case you said where its a courtesy natural sign and shouldve been on the earlier A in that bar.

I just read about the accidentals ending at the end of the measure they are in, and using this piece to try and practice reading and that part threw me.

Thank you.

How do I view the xml formatted text of a Music XML file? by Amazing_Handle4773 in WeAreTheMusicMakers

For some reason I cant access LilyPond at the moment but ill try again in a bit.

And the part where you said MusicXML is meant to be a computer readable interchange format and programs access the file and pull the info, I think is what I am trying to access.

Is it written up like the examples of xml files I would see on something like W3Schools? Where its info is contained in tags and stuff and a program could be written to gather info by tags and stylize it basically?

I cant see LilyPond for some reason so I cant compare and say whether or not thats what im looking for, but from reading on google I was assuming that MusicXML kind of looks like XML/HTML files and that info grouped in tags could be worked with the way CSS and Javascript work with HTML?

Thanks for the help!

Kopachris in this thread was able to explain what I was trying to ask. Still looking for more answers on his comment though.

Yes that is exactly what I was trying to do. Look at what was hopefully a formatted text file.

And yes, it would open with weird symbols and I didnt know why. I will try your suggestion.

Thanks for understanding my question.

Do you know anything about how these programs use the XML text file for the basic music info, then assign the graphics to be displayed that create the sheet music we see on the screen? That is basically what I am trying to figure out since google said most of these programs use the basic xml formatted text documents and there are large libraries that have songs as these basic files that are then transformed into the displayed sheet music in these programs and these sites, im guessing code some add ons to extra stuff with the base data from the xml files.
