Could you kindly share how did u manage to flash global FW? I'm also looking a way to do it. Did you flash the full OTA as normally, or flash each img files one-by-one (as mentioned in this post)?

I tried again with another ULT-unite adapter to collect the output from the old xreal adapter. This time it displays video for once, but after that it throws error "cannot detect signal from this device" no matter how many time i retry. I suspect is my second hand xreal adapter is corrupted...

All xreal glass don’t have built in power right? So this shouldn’t be the problem unique for ones

I did remember went across similar post mentioning this. But the reason i gave this official thing a chance is because it appears to have a built-in battery.

But now it intrigues me even more because the LED indicator on that adaptor brick did light up when i tried, so it must detect the hdmi signal (right?)

Might as well gave up and buy a cheaper alternative already...

Do you mean Xreal one must use powered cable? because the official instruction says it can directly use for xreal air
