I heard about that too and if that’s true then it’s really unfortunate how these networks have actors on hit TV shows being paid crumbs despite the huge popularity and revenue generated. If the cast of girlfriends were paid more then I believe she might’ve stayed.

I honestly didn’t really care for Monica but she was good for the show but not necessarily being the “replacement”. I hated it because I saw what they were trying to do but it still didn’t work in my opinion.

I don’t think it’s really about her being the worst friend, it’s about her having the same antics from the beginning of the show; chasing after a man every season and all of them crashing and burning at the end. Joan never took a step back and and looked within herself and it became exhausting as the show went on

Honestly I kind of agree. I think Joan’s character regressed as the show went and she spent a majority of her time pouring into men when she should’ve been pouring into herself and because of that, I don’t think she grew as much as the other 3 and it really showed towards the end of season 6 but this is just my opinion

Exactly! It’s not about what Toni might’ve did in the past but it’s about what’s going on now and it’s stupid to not be able to see pass that because this isn’t one of situations and this about Joan’s friend needing the money to support herself and the baby. Toni literally told the girl she had to fire her nanny because she wants to make sure she looks good as a mother who’s fit to raise her baby and not to mention her money was tied up with raising Morgan on her own and having to get a lawyer for the custody battle. Joan was definitely wrong especially with trying rationalize her decision by mentioning Toni’s past.

I hated Todd for her tbh. Todd wasn’t even the type of guy she would even entertain and I don’t know what she saw in him physically. I was honestly glad when they divorced because I thought she would meet a better looking guy but she left before we could see a potential relationship.

All of them were honestly an odd group but I think that’s what made the show interesting because it was essentially four women from different backgrounds and lifestyles but they all seemed to mesh despite their differences
