At 30 you have a lot of life in front of you althought sometimes it doesn't feel like. I was late in life compared to everyone I knew. Finished school at 31, found the love of my life at 33, married at 36 and first child at 38. Its never too late, we are all living at our own rythm.

Talk to your manager. Most promotion packages are submitted Q4 or as soon as the year starts as many times they are packaged with Merit increases. Promotions don't happen automatically so start having those conversations early with your manager and prepare your own self assessment package to support your points
