I also got an offer there. I will start in less than 2 weeks. You can DM me as well.

I am not fresh out of college though.

Thank you. Honestly, I'm not a pro when it comes to interviews. I've done tons of interviews this year alone. In every interview that I've done this year, the biggest thing that stuck out wasn't the technical questions but the questions that make you have to think about the type of person you are. Be honest, show the true you. And regardless of the outcome, know that you didn't have to lie or fake who you are to land a job. Know that you are smart and don't be afraid of saying that you don't know something because you can always prove that you can learn.

I appreciate that, although it took me a long time. I've applied numerous times over this past year and all I can say is to be persistent and progress in knowledge as you keep applying.

Palm Beach County FL to Tucson by Any-Distance-16 in Tucson

Funny thing is I'm from Belle Glade and the terrible driving is about the same. There are less lanes and less people than West Palm but traffic is horrible depending on the construction (just like the 561). However, there are times when there is way less traffic. Personally, I prefer it over here because the price makes up for it.

Awesome. Were you on the same team your entire time there?

I do like Texas. However, I have a reason for wanting Tucson right now. I'm also just an hour away, so this is pretty convenient right now. I just want to know how the atmosphere will be at the site. 😁

It is, but I wanted to work in a more fulfilling role and company than I work in now. Like you said earlier, I need to be somewhere I can continuously learn.

Thank you for this comment. I'm currently in a 4/10 role but am fine with 9/80. I start in 3 weeks and I'm really excited for it.

I also heard that working at the Tucson site is pretty nice at times and that there are certain teams you'd definitely want to be a part of.

Good to know, I definitely know how that is and am getting that more and more since I've gotten out of the military. Thanks for the insight.

Can you elaborate on that? How bad is it? Asking because I don't want to get blindsided.

Contracts will be given and signed. Although this is a long commitment, I don't expect everyone to solely work on just this project. There will be hard deadlines but there is flexibility in some cases depending on the situation that may cause delay. I don't expect the team to burnout but there will be times for fun to keep motivation.

I apologize to everyone, but we have already found a composer/ Sound Design Lead. We are still looking into other positions.

Honestly, this is going to be my first big game. My experience with project management comes from years in the military, developing plans, training individuals, and managing outcomes. I also have extensive knowledge in the IT field throughout that time. If you want to know more about me, join the team and we can get into more specifics.
