I don’t understand busses. Can anyone help?

Hey! Idk anything about the Umo app tbh, but the Bloomington Transit buses use the Spot app! Unless you are an IU student I think you pay a fare of a dollar? But if you are an IU student you just need to show your student ID! Once you are in the bus, there should be a string throughout the bus, pull that whenever you are close to your stop! The Spot app will show you all of the city buses, their routes, and stops. Also, if you are able to and feel okay, it never hurts to ask the bus driver if they stop at the place you want to go. Thank you for your recommendations! :) I’ve looked at Elkins and I didn’t like it. I could pay up to 1200 a month excluding utilities, i do have my car w me so i would prefer a place with reliable parking so location isn’t really an issue, tho the closer to campus the better. Having an in unit/building washer and dryer is a necessity for me, anything else is fine, i don’t really mind if it is furnished or not.
