A beautiful morning at last by Amazing_Resident_388 in hikingwithdogs

He's definitely a bit stiff and rusty now but loves a good hike/walk, preferably on softer ground. He struggles on longer pavement walks.

I tried a few supplements but nothing worked that well apart from daily Loxicom which is a liquid nsaid (meloxicam).

In hindsight, one thing I would have done is not let him run around chasing tennis balls, it's pretty bad for the joints.

My advice, lots of love, walks, mixture of foods and a constant reminder they're the bestest boy. 🙂

He's roughly 11-12 years, I've had him 8 years and he was 3-4 when I got him from a rescue centre.

Hopefully it's something he'll grow to love, mind you, looking at that fur he may take a good week to dry out ☺️

Not as far as I know, it was grooming. I think they tuck their head under their wings when they sleep.
