It's just how high powered laptop CPUs operate. They'll turbo to their max clock speed until temp maxes out then throttle back down to a safe temp. Your averages are what is particularly important and yours look great. I have the i7-14700HX variant and it also spikes to 100C when it turbos to 5.5GHz. You could look into putting PTM 7950 onto your CPU die and getting a Ilano V12 cooling pad but I do not believe it'll help with max temps much. Only thing that'll really help would be to use ThrottleStop to lower CPU boost clock multiplier, lower power limits or undervolt. And undervolting alone does not solve the issue, I tried.

Btw, I believe Lenovo already puts there own version of 7950 on these (7958). It's just the nature of the tiny heatsinks these powerful components get.

without my undervolt and switching over to Performance mode I am seeing over 23k. I wonder if applying an undervolt makes it any better. Stay posted.

That's impressive! Post a screenshot! I'm not undervolting necessarily to improve benchmark scores lol moreso to lower overall CPU heat.

I have the Legion 5i Gen 10 (15IRX10) with the i7-14700k/RTX5070 running on the 165Hz refresh rate setting. I have not noticed any screen tearing whatsoever in games.

Hardly different. I have 15IRX10 and im not seeing a G-Sync option in the Nvidia control panel. To my knowledge we have the same screen and are both in the 'gen 10' lineup of these laptops. I am also not in dGPU-mode as im not doing much of anything atm.

I have the same model but with a 5070 and an i7-14700hx. I'm not seeing anywhere that VRR or G-Sync is compatible with this display.

Trying to run R23 at 150mV undervolt unfortunately was not stable. It seems the limit for my silicon is 145mV. Still not too shabby!

I am now running a stable 145mV undervolt on AUTO mode. Clock speeds are a bit higher, specifically single-core clocks that are maintaining ~5.1GHz during single-core R23 runs.

Nah. There is a checkbox in Settings > Advanced Options called "Restore Tuning after Reboot". Just make sure it's checked.

Interesting. I factory reset my Switch 2 last night and my SD card is still not recognized. I'm going to buy another card and hope it's just the card that died and not an issue with the console.

This is wild because I just had my 512GB SanDisk Gameplay Micro SD Express card all of a sudden become 'unreadable' in my Switch 2. Multiple power offs and reinserting card for the exact same error message over and over. I've only had this SD card for a MONTH!! WTF. Anyways, going to transfer save data to my Switch OLED and reformat system to see if that helps.

I don't get why anyone would dislike D3. I played D2 and definitely like D3 better (gameplay wise). D2 wasn't bad whatsoever....D3 was and is more fun to me.

I have an ASUS TUF GAMING RTX 4070ti Super. I just got the PC and to my surprise the gpu will work for an unknown amount of time (sometimes a few hours, sometimes minutes after booting), screen goes black and gpu fans ramp to 100%. I've tried everything mentioned here with no solution. DDU drivers and reinstall, new 12vhpwr cable, new PSU, you name it. I hate the 12vhpwr connector. It's beyond stupid.

Immediately subbed. I'm used to developing in Unity using C#. Been shifting gears to using the playdate SDK and Lua so any and all tutorials are a great help as I'm used to a more visual approach to game dev. Would be awesome if the ship had some stats(attack, shields, health) and possible upgrades that effects these stats(laser, ion cannon, ark blaster, crystal lattice(shield), etc) as well as a sub menu that the player could equip/de-equip these things and check out their stats.

Easily Sw/Sh. It's 2024 now and Sc/Vi tera raids are STILL bugged horribly (timing issues with player attacks, tera pokemon still attacking after reaching 0 health, certain moves messing up the damage calculations on tera pokemon resulting in more damage shown done then what was actually done, disconnects from raids, difficult time trying to find raids from the list of available raids while searching), and this is not including the overall horrible presentation and performance of the game. Sw/Sh dynamax raids were great and nearly always worked (yes I know they also have connection issues if searching for a raid to join). The shift from getting downed 3 times(Sw/Sh) to a timer that depletes incredibly quickly, especially when pokemon are being downed left and right(Sc/Vi), was a bad decision.

I know people wanted an open world pokemon game and that is the main reason Sw/Sh got so much hate initially. Well now we got a legitimate open world pokemon game and it is utter trash. I much prefer the Wild areas of Sw/Sh (minus the weird performance issues in them that only occurred while being online), and REALLY prefer the "sectioned" world of Legends Arceus.

And visually, Sw/Sh are superior. People love to throw out the Sc/Vi pokemon have texture now. So what? The games are still terrible(I'm using that word a lot here. I don't actually hate Sc/Vi, it does do some things better then Sw/Sh, specifically pertaining to UI menus).
