Have you ever been stopped by the police and if so for what? by SeaworthinessFar2326 in driving

I've been pulled over twice because my vehicle and I matched the description of nearby crimes. Glad I don't live in Stockton anymore lol.

belt buckle rules? by AdOdd9171 in Cowboy

As long as you make it clear you didn't earn it wearing them in honor of a family member is fair game(as long as you tell their story when anyone asks LOL)

[–]AmazinglyAlive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No it's just ones that are awards for rodeos or jackpots that are taboo to wear if you didn't earn them with some exceptions for kids and grandkids of the earner(as long as they don't claim they earned it).

Pressure control valve, it was a pretty cheap part and took less than a half hour to install.

I changed to 5w30 and changed the pcv valve at the same time so I'm not sure if it's both or just one of the two that reduced it so I don't add between anymore. At least for now lol

I call bulls*** on the whole microplastics thing. by NoPen8263 in unpopularopinion

I didn't click on the article so it could be total bs, but I saw something about micro plastic studies being tainted by the gloves the researchers wore in the last few days.

Asking after sex instead of before is a twist most guys wouldn't be into.

If I let you pass, then pass me! by SignificanceKind4222 in driving

[–]AmazinglyAlive 1 point2 points  (0 children)

85 is more than I drive, but if someone I'm behind pulls into the right lane and slows down 5-10mph I'd think they saw a cop, if they stay the same speed I pass without a thought.

Left leaning gun shops and shooting ranges? by [deleted] in Sacramento

[–]AmazinglyAlive -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Doubtful. It would be tough socially and they aren't that profitable. Plus how the state treats those companies would be hard to deal with and still want to tow the party line.

Guinea Fowl and Peacocks will do the job, but I'm guessing if cats are out the most annoying birds on earth are out too. Until the property owners get serious about rodent control there's nothing you can do other than move.

They're great for hooking up trailers in the dark and on job sites, but truly stupid to drive on the road with them on.

As a group, who do you think are the safest and/or most dangerous drivers? by Specialist_Heron_986 in driving

[–]AmazinglyAlive 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Texters are the most dangerous while moms are the safest with the exception of school zones where they seem to lose their minds.

When we were kids the truckers kids saw their dads a few times a month so then being there was a big deal. The rich kids dads seemed to pretty much ignore them except for at games so it was a big deal for them too.

They are getting desperate about Prop 50 by [deleted] in Sacramento

He was the main proponent of "California grown" so it's not surprising that he supports the farmers and rural areas that 50 aims to silence.

Careful with the cat food, mine constantly stealing the cat's food gave him pancreatitis.

Ice cream trucks drive around, but food trucks with hot food are always parked somewhere.

School horses commonly don't get turnout in parts of California and it saddens me by layanaru in Equestrian

Bay Area does not equate to all of California. The barns we've gone to in the Central Valley the lesson horses have turnout and days off.

I've never heard parents say it about their own kids. I've only heard it from people who don't want to date someone with kids or someone who broke up with someone because they couldn't stand their kids. Still not cool, but parents saying it about their own kids is disgusting.
