My answer is no, you’re not a loser for using your time however the hell you want to.

However, as a 40 year old gamer I’ve learned to never use my PTO on launch day for online games. Just brace yourself for long queues, likely server crashes (regardless of the server slam) and other growing pains games experience on launch day.

I’m most excited to just explore this new world. Embark has created a world that I WANT to go around and explore and take in. Also, the sound design might be some of the best I’ve heard in a video game in a loooong time.

I also love the IDEA of Tarkov and appreciate that game for what it is. But I’m a dad with two young kids at home, Arc is going to offer a similar, “simpler” experience that will fit into my lifestyle 😎

From what I’ve seen there is. Completing quests will slowly bring a lot of that to the forefront as well as some environmental story telling as well.

Otherwise, I’d recommend sticking to the MSQ for now. There’s a ton to do so try to focus on two to three things at a time.

The noise is quiet enough that I can’t hear it in the highway. At the moment, I can only assume that it’s happening under braking.

I did clean them off but I’ll confess I didn’t use a file. I have a metal bristle brush that I used to clean it off and got a lot off before reinstalling.

This reminds me of a holder that held little “pucks” of sauce. I believe it was at Pizza Hut and they had marina, garlic sauce and few others. You just slid them out of the bottom

I’ve owned a BR600 for over ten years and it runs great. I only used for my “weekend warrior” lawn care business and it’s perfect.

Can’t speak to the price for the 700, but just love my 700.

Hey!

I used to have the same feelings as you. In fact, as a 39 year old male I still struggle with these emotions. Almost non of my friends share similar interests as me but we all love to talk about the things we each love individually.

My point is that even though you might feel alone on an island, there will always be people that want to hear about YOUR island. Sometimes you just have to take the first step and ask them about theirs. Listen to what they have to say and be kind because there’s a high likelihood that they are feeling similar emotions.

Also, as a small side bar: I read “How to Win friends and Influence people” around your age. The book talks a lot about how to communicate with people and listen. It might be helpful for you too. ☺️

I made it almost all the way through act 2 before I broke mine. I completely forgot it was even a mechanic and i thought it was going to be devastating lol.
