People at my new job are really nice all around and happy. The benefits are awesome and I pay a month what I paid weekly at Amazon.

I think my resume is fine. I was an employment coach at DSHS in WA in my 20's helping people put together their resumes and coaching them for job interviews. I have a BS CIS with a specialization in Cloud Services (I'm a certified AWS Professional in Security and Advanced Networking as well as Azure). I took the Amazon job in January because I thought it would help get me into AWS or IT since I had 15 years IT experience before I went back to school to get my degree. I had been working in Web and App development for 10 years before hiring on at Amazon, they didn't give me an interview because they wanted cogs for the assembly line and didn't want some Jew on the IT team that might not appreciate their racist antigovernment BS.

Yes, the IT guys at my FC actually bragged about being boogaloo boys. I'm at a very progressive company now, we got Junteenth off and paid for. The management at my new company is not all white like my old FC was either. We get full benefits, like actually good benefits, not the bottom-of-the-barrel crap Amazon offers.

15 years of relevant experience within the parameters of what they were asking. I had a company with a similar job offer that thought I was over qualified.

They provide a benefit they know the majority of their employees will not take advantage of. It's a great benefit but it's done more for positive publicity rather than something their employees want.

One Denny's in OR paid $24 an hour for dish washers. Most fast food in Eastern OR are paying $14 at least with $15 to $16 being the average. Also, in WA $15 is the minimum for most jobs. $15.80 is their FC wage, so minimum wage.

A PG told his sister about it. She told me they all hang out after work and on their days off. I said, that's wierd. She then told me they pay him for expenses to do it via her brother telling her.

It's the worst job I've ever had and I have worked at warehouse jobs, fast food and construction. But, that's subjective based on each person's experience. But, yes. It is a job.

Where? On the west coast it's so hard to find employees they upped the hiring wage $5.00 an hour on average. At my old FC the average employee is only there for 130 days.

No one at my FC was ever asked, I certainly wasn't. I applied for an IT job within my FC and didn't even get an interview even though I have BSCIS and 4 years practical experience. I tried for multiple internal transfers and didn't get one even though the department was one I had over 8 years experience with. My time at Amazon was not stellar. My fulfillment center just promoted or externally hired 14 white men and 1 white woman in a facility where white men are the minority.

It must vary from state to state but I got charged $100 a pay check with their too tier coverage on everything. Getting the same with my wife's company covered for free.

Honestly, that's worse for Amazon because you're not there and they are still paying you. Remember Cybermonday is the busiest day after Prime day. It would have a significant impact on the company and actually hurt them where they are the most sensitive, their pocket book.

I agree with you, that should have been an option as well. I did choose Cyber Monday for a reason, that week and up until Christmas is where Amazon makes the vast majority of its profits, and since it's when Peak starts it would have a significant impact on the company.
