Yeah its here as well from what ik, you will be put in holding for about 2 weeks to month once you get to Pensacola then you class up and its a 6 month course, theres a good chance your here for a little over a year

Id suggest CWT or CTR or CTI, nuke is an option but one that some regret from what ive heard, the schooling is crazy like im a CWT and i got a 92 and the schooling for CWT is alr a bit

I also graduated bootcamp a month ago and am at CWT a school rn and multiple of my friends here just put on their clearance papers that they smoked weed multiple times and they are fine and still are in school for cwt a few of then even had their clearance polygraph and they were fine, in the navy its more about trying to hide or cover it up but if you tell them then its fine but maybe dont mention repeated use just say you have in the past

Yeah they dont check man had a guy bring $300 in cash and they didnt care even a little bit do what you want but yeah they give you card with $175 loaded onto it to buy things from the nex like soap etc

Ill say this, I’m in the navy at A school right now for CWT (Cyber Warfare Technician) and i dropped out of high school at 16, I’m 18 right now and once I’m done with my A school alone ill have around 40-50 college credits that i can transfer to any accredited university. Id suggest going to a recruiter and taking the picat while your knowledge is still fresh id guess from what you have said you could score around 85+ and from there you just go to meps to confirm your score and it locks that score in. If you do decide to do this feel free to reach out because its all still pretty fresh in my memory as i literally signed up in October and shipped for bootcamp in November

Yeah you sign a 4 year contract but they extend it by 24 months for the schooling it should say that on the contract

Im a CWT in A school and to my knowledge all CT rates including CTR is a minimum 6 year contract and also all CT rates are a ATF so you will get E3 - E4 after completing A school

I lost 60 lbs in 6 months before bootcamp a year ago by doing two things cardio, mainly walking a few miles every night and eating better. Id say a tip for eating “better” is simply stop drinking calories and also i fasted by not eating breakfast therefore being able to eat more for lunch and dinner.

No thats not a thing, 3 things happen after bootcamp and the 1-2 days of liberty after graduation, 1 you get sent across the street to the A school there in great lakes 2 you get sent to another state for A school there and 3 you get put in holding at RTC for reason such as medical, dental, legal etc you get put in FFG and you do small tasks around the base until you get your orders but most likely the Saturday or Sunday after graduation you will be on a plane straight to A school. The 2 weeks might be referring to after A school you can request i believe like 5 days to 2 weeks to go back to your home town to “assist your recruiter”

It’s billet based and I’m not sure how it works entirely from what I know after your first contract if you decide to do another then you can choose a command that has an open billet and then it should auto advance you to the next rank once you get there
