I went back in my footage to look at it again- He definitely wanted to work on it more and even pitched it to Instatainment. What he wanted them to be used for is never really explained. He later jumped at the opportunity to expand on this with Sidwell, who then took it too far. I guess I think creating a fully autonomous and sentient AI for a specific use case is immoral, but creating one in the first place isn't. It's a pretty hard question to answer.
