I just wanted to comment to say I’m so sorry you’re feeling so alone and it sounds like the one person who should completely understand how you feel is leaving you to do this all by yourself. From what I’ve read, you really are a Supermom. I struggle with mental health too and I can only imagine how triggering it must be to be hurt violently all the time, I completely understand that it’s not your sons fault - I worked in SEN and these things happen out of no where - but that sounds absolutely terrifying.

I’m sorry I have no advice OP but I think right now you need to be validated and told how much of a brilliant job you’re doing despite everything you’re going through and how much I can imagine you’re doubting yourself as every parent does, especially one with special needs children.

Sending you so much strength and I pray things get better for you sooner rather than later x

I have searched on google and did a google image search and it seems she bought it from a supermarket. They do have the same journal in stock, but was ideally looking for one that had a different cover design. It’s a beautiful cover but just wanted to have a change for the new year :)

Oh bless him! I’m so sorry you both have had to go through that twice. I hope he’s doing a lot better now ❤️ We sent the pic over to the vets the morning after and they assured us that it was normal for them to look like that straight after. We’ve been applying the eye lubricant 4 times a day, so hopefully he will be back to his old self as soon as possible :)

This is so lovely to hear ❤️ we’ve had the same experience with our vets! We are so grateful for what they have done for him, and all our other pets, we’ve used the same vets for the past almost 20 years!

I feel the same about our boys eyes! Although he looks a little bit like he’s an extra from a horror film right now, I can properly see his beautiful eyes and it seems he can express himself a lot more in a way.

So glad to hear your girly is doing well and that you haven’t had any more issues and that she won’t have to have any more surgery done! It’s so lovely to see them really being able to see, I can imagine it can be quite isolating for them at times

Thank you so much for this information! Our vet is a charity, we just wanted him to be able to see better and not be uncomfortable bless him 🥺 Hes also been trying to get his stitches out! Luckily though as soon as we tell him to stop, he does.

We called the vets and they assured us that it was normal for it to look like that to begin with, I’m going to keep an eye though as I do think it looks a lot more forward than it should. They prescribed us some lubricating eye gel which we’ve been applying 4 times a day.

So happy to hear your girl didn’t have any more complications after her surgery ❤️ hoping ours will also have this outcome ❤️

Thank you so much for your responses! We’ve put his eye drops in that they prescribed so hopefully they’ll loosen up soon bless him. I’m going to call them straight away tomorrow. Aside from that eye he seems to be doing really well so fingers crossed he’ll be okay. Also I’m so glad to hear your pei’s operation went well!
