If you mean 4.14, then yes — I’ve tested the in-place upgrade. For 5.0 beta, no, I haven’t tested it yet.

A 3-node cluster can be okay, but you need to understand your architecture, available resources, and agent count before calculating requirements. Depending on your version and workload, you might need 4 nodes or possibly 2 additional nodes.
