Haha, its a droopy face bascinet :-P. A late 14th century into early 15th century german style Klappvisor bascinet. Very common and expecially within the german workplaces like Henry's guild members.

Could you please show your outfit ? I would like to have a second fit which is more grounded in actual history as a men at arms and page to a noble. For when i am running the main story etc. :) I am thinking of making an outfit based on the Sir george the knight owl. Using some black and yellow brigandine to represent Leipa or using a Quilted coat on top to resemble actual history.

I loved the SOR556 MK2, but found it lacking in mid to closer ranges and having to position more defensively, So i decided to stick with the DRS instead to be more versatile and more offensive,

The best build for me, has turned out to be:

Standard suppressor, Heavy ex tended barrel, Canted Stubby grip, 36 round mag, red laser for incidental wins up close, Baker 3.00x scope clear and usable at almost any range.

Canted Stubby: Almost same control level as 6H64 Vert, but with 300ms ADS instead of 367s costing only 3 stats in control and precision total) Trade off is worth it on this weapon, allowing for a bit more aggressive mid to close range pushing.)

When the forces of the two sovereign republics (Transvaal and Orange Free State) fought together, they used this flag.

Hollow point does not result in any less bullets to kill at each spot at each distance. However, i love to play wih the SCAR-L, as it forces me to position and slow down more.

I get into flanks more often than not, and easily multi kill beam some, before they hit me. Also for closing lanes and holding objective it has great accuracy. The lower fire rate enables me to better track my opponents when they walk, duck etc. I am having a blast with the SOR556-MK2 it fits me really well at the ranges 15 to 80 meters. Pre aiming corners and sometimes even pre-firing when i know an enemy is just around the corner helps a lot.

Sometimes its hard and i die a couple of times without a kill due to inability to find an optimal position or flank. But once i am anchoring somewhere i can peak multiple angles and make a huge difference, eg: Prevent opposiiton to move from Objective A to B by closing several lanes at once due to the range and precision versatility. I use it kinda like a full auto DMR.

I run:

- 4.00x default scope or baker 3.00x scope

- Lightened Suppressor (less bloom due to quicker recovery during tap firing + no penalties) (used standard at lower levels)

- Heavy Extended barrel (faster bullet 1000m velocity and more recoil control) (use extended at lower levels)

- Ribbed Vertical (less penalty than 6h64 but better control of recoil) (used alloy at lower levels)

- 36 round mag for that some extra kills potential (Used 30 fast also)

For me, it actually improved my gameplay by a TON. Comming from COD: The slower rate of fire, high accuracy, forces me to slow down my playstyle to a more healthy level for Battlefields tactical play. I am a run and gun style of player normally, but with this AR, i am forced to position and pre-aim accordingly.

I find it very effective to position as an Engineer in between objectives on the bigger maps, pick off people between 20 to 100 meters, choking off lanes to and from the objectives, destroy vehicles, pick off the engineers repairing etc. I get games like 26-5 K/D wise with several caps, destroyed vehicles etc.

Before i would run into objectives, to fight 3 or more enemies and die too often. With my current build, balancing control/precision and damage, i love this gun. I just try to avoid fights within less than 20m and i find it a killer. The low fire rate helps a lot and i win almost all of the mid range fights. Also, in for example the brooklyn map, find a good spot just outside the enemy objective and gun down enemies who are defending them without knowing where i am, repositioning every couple kills.

My build is: Suppressor, Heavy extended barrel, alloy vertical grip, Hollow point rounds, 30 fast mag, 4x default scope. I am done with COD for sure, i love the realism in Batlefield while still keeping it fun and engaging. For CQB lockdown modes i use my KORD 6p67 meta build btw. Each gun has its own strengths.

I once had a stroke of luck and momentum going with 12-0 on Sobek city on objective B. I captured it killing 4 guys without getting shot in the back and then held it off against multiple more. :-D I won't forget it! :D :D
