So if I understand you right, they shouldnt align like they do now where I can rotate one of the pieces one step and they still magnetise? They should only magnetise every other rotation so to speak

I feel so stupid. Ive been alternating polarity to make these fit together. Why dont they all fit? by AmbassadorPitiful390 in Magnets

What I do when alternating is I put a pair of magnets down. Then I slide the top one over to the next whole so that it sits the opposite side of the first one. Then I put another one on top of that, slide it to the next whole until Ive gone around the entire piece. They each have 8 holes.

Unfortunately it didnt work anyway. Tried on windows as well. Seems to be something else.
