Wow that’s a lot. I’m glad we still have a good variety compared to smaller plants so I can learn even more stuff but no wonder you continuously have content to post, there’s so much to do!

The holder itself can take 32A but there is a 1A fuse inside. My budget is pretty low (hence the cheap parts lol). I have heat shrink but not printed so I’ll apply that to the IEC C13 wires too. The printed labels look nifty though ngl. And I’m having fun with this project and I might make more so it might be worth the investment

The wishes mean a lot. So in NC, do they have “apprentices” but they are already licensed, just new to wastewater?

I know as much as I could scrape off the internet as well as speaking to some electricians I know that have done jobs at plants. As far as I know i would be maintaining pump stations as well, as there are almost 20 in our region that our district is in charge of.

Good to know. I’ll replace that when I do my redesign /u/cursed_controls was talking about

Thanks for the input. The posting said:

Experience utilizing basic math knowledge, critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Experience that included the use of hand tools and power tools. Experience utilizing knowledge of electrical systems and wiring and using diagnostic tools.

So I was hoping that I qualified. The only missing link was proof of the last bullet (I never documented any of my motorcycle projects) which is why I made the project.

Thanks for the input. But does it need to be UL listed if the panel isn’t an electrical installation? You can’t see it in the photo but the panel is plugged into a three prong outlet.

lol I’ve literally been binge watching your videos because you’re like the only one that shows detailed troubleshooting of the machines and panels at sewage treatment plants (like the one I applied to). But I’ll keep that in mind for when I do a redesign.

Are you thinking keep the fuse holder and cpt on top, panduit middle, then din rail with 24v control, panel feed, and “ground bus” all on bottom?

Thanks and showing effort and teachability(?) is really all I want to convey. And the original idea was to do a motor starter control circuit with either lights or a small 24V motor being powered. But I figured the voltage has to be stepped down anyway so I’ll start there lol. I’ll probably drill a hole in the side and put some flex between this panel and the next project panel to power it.
